Paul Quay

Consulting Partner

Paul is an accomplished, international Human Capital professional, with senior level commercial HR experience encompassing all HR disciplines. He has a proven track record of success in the Energy/Chemical, Technology/Telecoms, Financial/Banking, Real Estate Development, Healthcare/Life Sciences and Government sectors in Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and The Americas having worked and lived in some 30 countries whilst developing his global portfolio in both emerging and developed economies.

Paul is the Founding Partner of Dubai based Matheran Talent Management FZ-LLC and has served as Managing Partner for Matheran since 1997. He also currently serves as Senior Partner with Mentor Global Consulting, Executive Director of International Interim Management and is a former Senior Partner of KornFerry International. Paul is internationally recognised as a specialist in senior leadership and ‘C’ level Resourcing, Assessment, Coaching & Development and Succession Planning. He is also highly experienced in competency based performance management systems having designed, implemented and managed many such processes at all organisational levels throughout his career.

Paul has held senior Human Resource and General Management positions in some of the world’s largest corporations in a career which spans over thirty years. He holds a BA (Hons) degree in Social Sciences from the University of West of Scotland and is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He is a member of the Institute of Directors (London), the Dubai Human Resource Forum and a former contributor to the American Compensation Association and the Asia Pacific HR Roundtable (Hong Kong / Singapore).


Eric Van Djiken

Ed is a qualified, multilingual Organisational Psychologist and Coach with experience of designing and delivering Management Development programmes in the Middle East (Kuwait, KSA and the UAE) including the Oil & Gas sector. Roles undertaken include, inter alia:

  • In-house Occupational Psychologist running Talent Development & Assessment Centres delivering tailored leadership development programme including 360 feedback, succession planning and talent management solutions for senior managers up to VP level for Obeikan Investment Group, KSA
  • Organisational Psychologist for the Kuwait Oil Company where he designed and delivered a Talent Review Process using various assessment tools to identify key contributors to a prestigious Smart Digital Oil Field initiative to optimise the production performance of large oil & gas fields.
  • Organisational Psychologist for the Olive Group, Abu Dhabi as part of the Abu Dhabi National Programme for Leadership Development managing competency based Assessment Centres providing in-depth feedback based on behavioural data and personality profiling, identifying individual development needs and development plans to assume leadership positions.

Ed is a Dutch national with an MSc in Social and Organisational Psychology from Leiden University NL, an MA in European Industrial Relations from Warwick Business School UK and is a senior practitioner level trained and supervised coach fluent in English, Dutch, German and Portuguese.


Michael Turrell

Michael Turrell has twenty years experience in interim management, twelve of which were as an interim executive. He established the interim management practice of Korn/Ferry international after working for the interim management business created by Egon Zehnder. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of organisations ranging from Financial Services in the City of London through to Television and FMCG Retail


Michael Rossiter

Consulting Partner

Michael Rossiter has worked in more than thirty countries helping leaders and organizations navigate through significant change.

Working in different sectors across the globe, he has developed advanced skills in leadership development, change management, and organizational development.

His primary expertise lies in cultural transformation, executive development and coaching, senior team effectiveness, and CEO/C-suite succession management.

His practical work experience has been gained by working as a senior business executive, chief HR officer, executive coach, internal and external consultant across a range of industries in the private and public sector including oil and gas, mining, fast moving consumer goods, security, ICT and management consulting.

Michael holds masters and bachelors degrees in organization development and a second masters degree in a joint program at the business schools of Oxford University in the UK and HEC in Paris. In the Oxford/HEC program, he was awarded a distinction for his dissertation on the sense-making and decision-making of leaders.

In addition, he holds the prestigious diploma in coaching from Oxford University. He is also certified in over twenty of the leading personal assessment tools and technologies.
